The Rocky Bay Foundation board consists of the following members.
Paul is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors as well as being a Certified Asset Manager and Licensed Real Estate and Business Agent. He has been self-employed since 1995.
Paul has been actively involved in the not-for-profit sector since returning to Perth from London in 1988. He has held positions with the Committee for Economic Development of Australia, the Australian Property Institute, the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia, and with organisations such as the Western Australian Cricket Association.
Paul was appointed to the board of The Rocky Bay Foundation in January 2009 and elected Chairman in 2014.
Susan originally trained as an occupational therapist, working in health, rehabilitation and occupational health in Australia and the United States.
Following completion of a Master of Business Administration, Susan has worked as a management consultant and senior executive in the banking, insurance and utilities industries. She has considerable experience as a non-executive director in social purpose organisations, commencing in 2006 with Child Australia. Susan joined the Rocky Bay Board in 2007 and was appointed Chairperson in November 2018.
Paul is a Deloitte partner and leader of the WA Technology consulting practice, with over 20 years consulting experience across a diverse range of industries. Paul specialises in IT strategy and planning and the implementation of technology-enabled solutions.
Paul’s Australian industry experience includes mining, oil and gas, utilities, Government and financial services. His prior UK experience also included consumer products, retail and manufacturing.
Rob is a qualified accountant, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia. He has over 35 years’ experience as a principal in a public accounting practice.
He is also a member of several professional committees in the accounting and taxation associations.
Rob has had extensive involvement in community service. This was principally through Rotary, at both a club and district level, and more recently with Rocky Bay as a board member, Chairman of finance and Chairman of the board until 2014.
In 2014, Rob received the PWC award from the Institute of Company Directors for Excellence in the WA not-for-profit sector following his board involvement at Rocky Bay.
Ray is a retired Stock Broker, having formerly been Founder and Chairman of Porter Western Ltd. During his career, Ray has also been Chairman of other member corporations of the Australian Stock Exchange including Saw James Capel Ltd and Chairman of HSBC Securities (WA) Ltd and Vice-President of Salomon Smith Barney – Citigroup.
Frank commenced as Executive Officer in November 2012. Frank has over 40 years’ experience in the finance industry and was employed by National Australia Bank for 39 years, attaining senior managerial status. Frank has been a member of Rotary International for over 30 years.
